Seahorse Cottage is a recently renovated seaside property, located a stone's throw from the beach and promenade. Completely refurbished in 2020 with new kitchen and bathroom, it is an ideal choice for couples and families seeking a holiday retreat with all of the amenities of this pretty coastal town right on the doorstep. This wonderful holiday home offers a cosy, modern feel and enjoys the warmth of a Woodburner out of season and the joys of sunshine in the patio garden. From the cottage you can enjoy easy access to the World famous Jurassic Coastline and a be just a few minutes walk of the the restaurants and the main shopping area, with its cafes, pubs and restaurants, Lyme Regis itself is a truly fantastic place. Situated on the magnificent UNESCO Jurassic Coast, it's known as the pearl of Dorset and upon visiting, it's easy to see why. A famous spot for fossil hunters worldwide, it also sits on the South West Coast Path and offers a whole host of wonderful hikes and walks nearby. Lyme Regis' sheltered south-facing beaches are safe for both children and water sport enthusiasts, with great fishing and leisure boat opportunities available from the Cobb harbour. It has a fantastic food and music scene and is often used as a prime filming location. There are also vast amounts of festivals and events happening in the town throughout the year. Some of the bigger ones include the jazz and folk festivals, Food Rocks, Regatta & Carnival Week, and Lifeboat Week which offers a week of fun, games, music and displays for all the family.
